Please do not waste your money on this coffee maker. I bought this coffee maker as an emergency replacement and now wished I would have done the research. No matter how carefully you try, the carafe leaks and makes a huge mess. It is hard to see the water level as you add the water to the back. The coffee temperature is not hot enough and does not stay hot in the carafe.

We used this coffee maker far longer than we should have. As other reviews have confirmed, it doesn't keep coffee hot and it doesn't pour well. I had to get in the habit of pouring my cups over the sink so as not to drip all over the counter. These first two I could live with, if I have high quality coffee it still tastes good to me when lukewarm. However, the coffee tastes horrible through this maker. Enjoying a lovely cup of coffee this morning from our french press and had to log on to give my first review on Amazon. Buyer beware, this coffee maker will seriously jeopardize your morning cup of joe!
