So far, this is the best coffee pot we've had in the last decade. Hot, consistent, well-brrewed coffee and an easy to use and clean set up. I was initially skeptical about the lack of a pot, but it means one less thing to clean, one less thing to break, if glass, and one less thing to have rubber seals malfunction, if metal. The prep time is slightly longer than on some other makers, but good coffee takes time. French press is best, and this is faster than a press by far. I highly recommend it. My only concern is the dispensing button. make sure it is far out of reach for children, because it easily flows out hot hot hot. That, however, is common sense.

The Hamilton Beach Brew Station is a great 12 cup coffee pot. It is unlike traditional coffee pots, in that the carafe is actually inside the unit and not removable. My wife and I love this coffee pot, because it keeps our coffee hot for up to 4 hours and we can dispense into our cups as needed. We often have a cup at home in the morning and then fill a traveler mug before going to work. The Brew Station is the perfect size to both hold the amount of coffee we drink as well as to fit a traveler mug under the spout for filling.We have been using the coffee pot for just over a month and have had no problems with it. I ordered the reusable filter from the Hamilton beach website (it was the cheapest website and had free shipping!). We are used to using these and the one from our old coffee pot did not fit very well.The only negative aspect about the coffee pot is that I wish the power cord was a bit longer. The cord is only 2 ft long. This product makes excellent coffee and it's very easy to use. We go through at least 10 cups a day. I've only had it for about a month, but so far I'm very pleased with my choice.
