It is the valve staid in the superior part of the coffeepot and uses in ordet to distribute two levels of pressure. It has to be cleaned up periodically and its eventual substitution is very simple. Fit only for the coffeepots for cappuccino: Mukka express 1 cup, electric Mukka 2 cups, Mukka express 2 cups.

Well, I have two bialetti Mukka coffee makers, I bought this one as a spare part for one of them. The valve didn't fit both coffee makers. apparently it goes in and twists correctly, but you can notice a little gap in the seal since the valve can move a little bit. I first thought it could be the coffee maker, so i tried it in the other one that its working correctly and the same. Apparently the valve i received its a little bigger so it doesnt sits tight. It will partially do the job, it will keep the pressure and so, but when the coffee is coming out, most of it will flow thru the walls of the valve and not thru the nozzle of the valve. I also tried the other old valve I have and it fits perfectly in both cofee makers.Something I noticed is that in the new valve, beneath there is a small number, in my old and working valve says "1", but in the new one says "4" I dont know if there are different models or if this number has something to do with it.I'll buy a new one from a different seller and see what are the results.
