I live overseas and there are very few 220V coffee makers out there so choices are limited. This worked great for a year, but now I am out shopping again for another one as this one takes about an hour to brew 8 cups of coffee,,,its like a tired old man, it has to stop and rest every few minutes, then brew a little more, then stop,,and so on.

We have had this coffee maker for years- we live overseas- and have had no problems with it. Very basic, simple, and makes a good cup or twelve of coffee. Sadly we just broke the carafe and havent found a way to replace it, but the maker is still great!

Bought this as I am overseas and needed a 220 coffee maker. Coffee spills out the side of the glass pot when you pour it unless you pour the coffee very, very slow. If you do not have the pot seated in exactly the right spot, coffee water and coffee grinds leak all over the counter.
