Received the Proctor Silex Programmable coffeemaker as a gift, so I think Im kinda stuck with it for a while. But I kept my Mr. Coffee machine, because I dont expect this one to last too long. Very poorly made.The lid closes, but the drip arm inside doesnt work properly, so you have to manually pull the arm to drip over the coffee grounds. The coffee basket blocks the arm from dripping over the coffee, so you have to push down on the coffeebasket while positioning the drip arm over the coffee grounds. Very inconvenient!The carafe is a very thin glass.The plastic is poorly constructed.The timer worked well, and the coffee was good and hot.
