I use my Sunbean Tea Kettle daily, and it works like a charm. I replaced a much older (expensive)tea kettle that I had for years with this one, and I have not been dissapointed. Some may say that the whistle isn't loud enough; however, for me that is a good thing because I had a 4 month old at home. It is loud enough to hear when I am close to it, but not loud enough to wake a sleeping baby.For the price, I guarantee that you won't be dissapointed either (because I am pretty picky).

The tea kettle is ok but the whistling sound when the tea is boiling is very hard to hear.Also I thought the kettle was brushed chrome judging by the photos and was sought of dissapointed that is was bright chrome instead. All in all not a bad kettle for the money.

This kettle design is dangerous. The handle was starting to pop out before I even took it out of the box. If I hadn't noticed that before using it to heat up the hot water for my children's hot cereal, it could've come apart while I was pouring. I could possibly have burned myself and my child badly. I am horrified that this product is so unsafely cheap in construction. Sunbeam should be ashamed. Packing this right back to where it came from, thankfully before using it.
