User Opinions

Coffee good, but I don't like licking it off the counter top
Clint Potts

I purchased this model recently for use at work. I've used Mr. Coffee's for many years and have always found them a great value. I would think, though, that after 35 years of making drip coffee makers, Mr. Coffee would figure out how to make a carafe that doesn't drool on the counter every time it is used. I have tried every angle/pour method I can think of and I can't keep the coffee off the counter top. I've given up on cups. I now just pour it on the counter and drink it there. Dogs had the right idea all along. The coffee does taste good, though. Particularly if I have any cookie crumbs left on the counters...

Worst Mr. Coffee I've Owned
Jeffrey Morse

This thing is absolute garbage. If would be tolerable if it made decent tasting coffee, but it doesn't. The most maddening thing about it is the dribbling coffee all over the burner every time I remove the carafe from it. The "pause and serve" feature is a joke - always end up with a puddle on the burner boiling away. I've been using Mr. Coffee coffee makers since the 80s. At first they were US made, then Mexican made and now Chinese. The quality of the unit and flavor of the coffee has declined with each cost cutting labor move. I think this will be my last one (and I doubt it'll take too long before I need to replace it).

Don't buy this coffee maker

I purchased this coffee maker this past January and this morning it stopped working. I've also had the same trouble with the carafe dribbling all over the counter and the coffee maker itself but decided to just live with this problem. Since I have this coffee maker for less than 6 months and it has stopped working, I find it very difficult to recommend this product. Save yourself some headaches and money and don't, I REPEAT DON'T, buy this coffee maker.
