I have had this brewer for over a month now and i could not be any happier. Very easy to use and the coffee taste so much better than a 12 cup maker. yes it was pricy but well worth it. I use my k cup twice to make coffee I look for all sales on k cups but am going to by the reusable k cup soon will keep you updated

This is an updated review after using this machine for a little over a month. During the first couple weeks, I had a lot of trouble with the machine not brewing. Maybe I had some bad K-cups that clogged up the machine or something, I'm not really sure, but over the last month or so, after daily use, the machine has been performing without trouble. I really appreciate the consistency of each cup of coffee or tea, as well as the ease and speed of preparation, and no clean-up afterwards besides throwing away the used pod. Overall, I am really glad I bought this machine.

I loved the idea of Keurig. I thought that having a good, hot cup of coffee is a short period of time would well worth the money. I was extremely disappointed. I like my coffee hot, dark and strong. The Keurig did not deliver any of the three. A friend gave me a few K-cups that were that would do in a pinch but it was not what I wanted (Starbucks and Paul Newman extra bold). I bought a reusable K-cup and used my own coffee but it did not provide a very satisfying cup of coffee. If you grind the beans too fine, it stops the system up. If it is too course, there is no flavor. So, I sent it back. The problem is it's greatest asset. The hot water passes through the K-cup so fast that it cannot really pick up all the flavors. Here is south Louisiana, people have been known to use old fashioned drip pots to get a good cup of coffee. I have a French press that does a fine job and even automatic coffee pots can make a very good cup at a reasonable price. But the Keurig and the coffee is expensive and does not produce the kind of coffee I want.I still like the idea of the Keurig. I would think that it is fine for those who want a milder cup of coffee. if one likes mild coffee the color of tea, this will give you what you want. But if you like dark, deeply rich, robust coffee served hot, this will not give you what you want.
