I've ordered two of these and both times received Plastic Coffee Drippers... not Ceramic. Both times the box has a sticker over the actual part number with a tag that says its ceramic..

it's fabulous, the best homebrewed coffee method (affordable, that is) out there. and it's a lovely design...my only slightly negative comment is that i expected ceramic but it's plastic. oh, and go to the new york times archive and find the recommended procedure for brewing the coffee (more than just grind it and pour over the hot water)--it really does make a huge difference in the final cup.
