This is the second time I've purchased this machine. The first one lasted exactly 4 years. I find the new machine improved with the addition of a drip free pour spout. You do have to open the top to see if the brewing is finished (you can hear when its nearing the end), but for the price, this is a good value.

Works ok for small batches of coffee.I didn't like that there was no signal when brewing is done.The carafe is difficult to remove and replace.Also, cleaning and filling the basket is cumbersome.
